8BitFish are 8000 completely randomized algorithmically generated pixel fish with exactly 2251799813685248 combinations. This amount of combinations is possible because any possible combination of hex colors and patterns can be applied to the token from the SVG templates.
The entire 8bitfish project is open-source and was aimed at providing a start-to-end product for new developers to learn and reference from. The overall vision of 8bitfish was never to make money but rather to help others on their journey to understanding and producing their own ERC-721 collections.
Another major aim of 8bitfish was to deploy a collection X amount of tokens for the lowest possible price that is why everything is built on polygon with free data hosting from pinata and local database services.
