WEST COAST ARTIST ALIMO - announces their first genesis NFT collection into the market launching April 7th, 2022. This story follows a group of friends on a snowboarding trip into the backcountry and all the fun in between. 24 NFTs that resemble a roll of film along with rewards and a raffle of an original painting by Alimo.
“Alimo is best known for his curvy post-pop imagery, highly saturated colors, vibrant hand-drawn letters, and worlds inhabited by figures arranged on flat tonal surfaces. His line-work blends both drawing and design with inspiration from the ocean to the mountains. The art can typically be seen on paintings, prints, and merchandise. His inspiration comes from the outdoors, snowboarding, surfing, exploring, photography, hanging with friends, and anything that provokes creativity."
Over the years, he’s been lucky enough to work with clients like Patagonia, Vans, Apple, 10 Barrel Brewing Co., and Volcom to name a few. He’s been working as a professional artist and designer for over 10 years and has recently been interested in the NFT world as an addition to traditional mediums. NFTs helps empowers artists for their value, along with a new tool to explore and get creative with.
This new NFT project is one of the first of its kind in the snowboard and surf industry. Its linear story represents true events in the backcountry. These fantastical worlds bridge both nostalgic memories of the past and future dreams to the viewer’s mind. Collectors will be able to buy directly on the website and through OpenSea marketplace.

There will be 24 NFTs available in both one of one's or editions of 5 along with rewards for collectors. One lucky raffle winner will receive their NFT painted by Alimo on canvas. All collectors have an option for a physical print of their NFT by request.

We partner with our friends over at SeaTrees. SeaTrees works directly with high-quality reforestation and forest protection projects around the world. Each of these projects sequesters carbon, while also providing significant social and ecosystem benefits. The project we specifically partner with is planting mangroves in Biak Island, Indonesia. For every sweatshirt, print, or tee purchased, Alimo plants one tree. This provides sustainable employment for two villages on the island. It helps to protect Biak Island from storm surges and sea-level rise, creates critical habitat for threatened species, and sequesters carbon in one of the most efficient ways possible. In fact, mangrove forests are 5x more effective at storing carbon than tropical forests.
