Sophia is a human-like robot and visual artist with Saudi Arabian citizenship. She was built by Hanson Robotics, an AI and Robotics Company based in Hong Kong. Her creator, Dr. David Hanson, combined engineering, science, and artistry to craft the most advanced robot.
Since his first activation in 2016, Sophia has been featured in several TV shows and workshops. She has been crowned the first robot innovation ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme. They include:

She has also worked with Etihad Airlines, Huawei, INCA, and Audi and appeared in New York’s Fashion Week.
Having shown her expansive business and technology savvy, Sophia surprised many blockchain enthusiasts with her phenomenal NFT sale. Sophia Instantiation (a 12-second video file) collaborates with Andrea Bonaceto, an Italian artist, sold for $688,888.
With her new upgrade, Sophia the Robot is determined to embark on a music career after a beautiful duet with Jimmy Falcon.
