OG Slick, Richard P. Wyrgatcsh II, is a professional artist based in Los Angeles. He was born and raised in the streets of Honolulu, Hawaii, where he started his career as an aerosol artist. His interest influenced his passion for art in American and Japanese culture during childhood. He is an alumnus of the Art Center College of Design in Honolulu. He began his career at the age of 19 years as a graffiti artist on the West Coast. He quickly blended commerce and art when he became interested in American Streetwear and culture. He used his name SLICK as a signature while painting murals or doing artwork on sneakers, cards, or directing graffiti for video games. Today, he is professionally recognized for his skills in traditional graffiti burners, Streetwear, and toy design, digital manipulations, site-specific installations, studio painting, aerosol spray paints, and public sculptures.
His work has been recognized in Art in The Streets at MOCA, Roll Call at LA Louver, Beyond the Streets, Into Action festival, California Locos Masters of Style, among other spaces and exhibitions.
