MUSE is a musical band formed in 1994 by band members Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme, and Dominic Howard. The band began initial performances in England and won the heart of Prince Charles, who granted them £150 to purchase equipment. The band had its big break around 1998 when they were on tour with an already established band, Skunk Anansie. During the tour, they met Dennis Smith of Sawmills Studios, who produced their first EP. The band experimented with other production studios and partnered with Warner Bros, who helped them enter the US market.
Successful projects followed after that. A few mention-worthy ones include The Resistance, The 2nd Law Album, and Drones. The band’s success has led to many awards, including 2 Grammys, an MTV Award, 5 MTV Europe Music Awards, and more. MUSE dropped their first NFT on Nifty Gateway under the title “Simulation Theory: Sequence I.” More drops by MUSE are expected as the NFT space grows in popularity across the globe.
