Michael Kagan is an artist based in New York whose creativity is inspired by space travel. He was born in 1980 and raised in the state of Virginia. His major while studying in George Washington University was Painting and Art History. After clearing his education, he relocated to New York City to kickstart his career and currently lives in Brooklyn. His style of painting includes graceful brushstrokes with bright and muted hues. Kagan’s works of art are featured in the Billionaire Boys Club clothing line owned by Pharell.
He contributed to designing an album cover for The White Lies album which went ahead to scoop the Best Art Vinyl award in 2013. 2 of his paintings, Aldrin and In Memory, sold on the Nifty Gateway auction during the first quota of 2021. Michael participates in solo and group exhibitions all over the world. He is expected to be part of the upcoming, Over the Influence exhibition in Los Angeles, California.
