We’re here to Make the Long Haul, not to ‘Hit and Run’ II Creator's Interview

Chris from NFT Calendar: You have one of the most creative designs I have seen in the NFT space – what inspired this project and who is the team behind it?

SuburbanColors team: Inspiration came along. We’ve always liked the cyberpunk style (Akira, Mad Dog Jones, etc.) and decided to make some drawings. First thing the community will see is the NFT designs, when you create something amazing or outstanding compared to others it will bring interest.
Seeing that it was liked by the community we started to grow and decided to make the generative art collection so we could carry out the whole SuburbanColors project.
We started the team with a small group of artists but we had to grow quickly with developers, product experts, marketers, moderators, and so on. The team is spread across Europe, Asia and America.

Chris from NFT Calendar: The whole collection dropped on December 11, 2021 correct? How can one get their hands on your NFTs now, and how much will it cost?

SuburbanColors team: The collection came out recently, on December 18, with very little promotion behind it as we focused all our efforts on the design and product.
The minting is currently live and at a very, very competitive price, 0.03 ETH only.
At first we had planned to put it at a minimum of 0.05, but in order to help users with the gas fee we finally decided to put more affordable prices.
We’re here to make the long haul, not to ‘hit and run’.

Chris from NFT Calendar: SuburbanColors is divided into humans, cyborgs, and robots. Please tell us more about the perks associated with each? Are there different benefits, voting, rights, access etc.?

SuburbanColors team: The entire collection is humans, cyborgs and robots. But now we have left the robots aside, in the future it will be discovered what role robots play.
The benefits, there are several things on the table, all aimed at getting users to keep their nft's and increasing the value of the NFTs, like get a handmade NFT artwork if you mint and hold 3 NFT's.
On the other hand, we all know that this world is in constant motion, now DAOs are a trend, so we do not rule out carrying them out.
We have launched this week our Royalty program, where we share royalties earned with our Holders.
What motivates us is to create a strong community and go up together.

Chris from NFT Calendar: Play to earn, these are both words that pique my interest – play and earn. Share more on the earning aspect of the game please, and your goals in this area.

SuburbanColors team: After the boom in Play-to-earn (or GameFi) games we were very clear that if we ever made a collection it had to be a game too.
We’re still very much focused on the gameplay and tokenomics part, we want it to be a fun game and stable.
Lately we are seeing games that were well established suffer too much.
Here we do not want to run and if we have to take longer than expected to do something well done then so be it.
Our goal is to build a future and earn together with the community that makes us succesfull.

Chris from NFT Calendar: I know a lot of promoters out there, what does your affiliate program offer – why is it worth their while to partner up with SuburbanColors?

SuburbanColors team: It occurred to us to offer an affiliate program by the time we started being bombarded with hundreds of promoters offering the same thing.
It was impossible for us to determine with whom we should collaborate and with whom we should not!
With the affiliate program we offer incentives to promoters and followers of SuburbanColors while we have an open mind.
We can offer hybrid options (not just commissions) and also offer bonuses.
A well-done promotion earns much more this way than a fixed price.

Chris from NFT Calendar: When do you see the project reaching phase 2? As we understand, there will be giveaways upon reaching 50% - please elaborate on that.

SuburbanColors team: When we reach 50% a few things will start: in addition to new promotions, we will start giving perks to the owners and open private channels to give members the power to decide the paths of SuburbanColors.
That in fact, well thought out, it could be said that the founders of the team spend our day working on the suggestions of the community.

Chris from NFT Calendar: And you also plan to reward the holders with 5% of the trade volume right? That’s great. Are there any other community incentives with the earnings?

SuburbanColors team: Yes, we want to grow in the long run, and we need to do that with the community. The best way to reward our members is to share some of the benefit. And in this way we are all more aligned towards the same goal of growing.
On the other hand, we are constantly proposing similar promotions and activities. And surely more will come.

Chris from NFT Calendar: We are always happy when we see a creative and artistic NFT project, and it’s clear you guys are very talented. How can we keep up to date with your latest news and project development?

SuburbanColors team: Very simple, the best way is to follow us on Discord , Twitter, or On Instagram
