The ‘Spray Can’ serious is a Collaboration between highly Collectable irl artist Campbell La Pun II An Interview with Creator

NFT Caviar an artist and creator of Museum Refined. He has a background in fine art, where irl he paints in oils. He has held exhibitions in USA, Australia, and Europe. NFT Caviar is a seasoned veteran in the NFT space, with his passion of art and background in technology has found an expression by creating the  Museum Collection. Check out our interview with him below.

Chris from NFT Calendar: To begin, I must say I am a fan of spray can artwork. Are you a Spray can lover as well? Or, is this just a dream of Artist Campbell La Pun realized by you and your team?

NFT Caviar: The ‘Spray Can’ serious is a collaboration between highly collectable irl artist Campbell La Pun. Born in New Zealand, but now calls Japan home, Campbells works are highly sort after by collectors, where his works can be found in galleries worldwide such as DTR Fine art, Claredon Fine art and The Collection Fine art.  .

Campbells ‘Spray Cans’ is a reflection of his iconic  Spray Can stencil artwork. This has been his corner stone style that launched him into the world of fine art. This series has been painted on various mediums including canvas, wood panel and the street and now digitally on the blockchain.

The collaboration between Campbell and NFT Caviar has been seamless where quality has always been paramount. NFT Caviar gave assistance to Campbell through the creation of the 1,111 items, rarity and of course the infrastructure to set up on the blockchain. Along with NFT Caviar is a well seasoned team of 4 whom also brings their expertise to the team, via communications, marketing and general know how of the NFT space. The team are all passionate about art, and together it has been a match made in heaven. Where via the success of their first drop, Museum - The White Room, the vision of the projects scheduled under ‘The Museum’ umbrella are endless.

Chris from NFT Calendar: The artwork on the cans is sick, right? Why limit them to just 1111 unique NFTs?

NFT Caviar: The supply of the ‘Spray Can’ series is set at 1,111. The team wanted to keep this a boutique art drop, for various of reasons. One of which is to keep it a premium collection of fine art lovers. There are enough 10k PFP low effort PFP collections out there, and the Campbell series is all about quality not quantity.
The second reason is that having a lower supply equals lower amount of holders. It is much easier to communicate with a smaller community that understands what we are building. This helps reward the community for future drops (which are in the works) and be more direct with rewards and perks in the future.
So overall we want to limit the supply so that it becomes an exclusive drop, scarcity is the game in nft world and this is the first nft drop for Campbell La Pun and I want to get close and personal with the holders. Smaller the holders the better to create connection or else it just becomes a number. Community is valuable thing.

Chris from NFT Calendar: Do you plan to have a presale or airdrop soon? Please share dates.

NFT Caviar: Pre-sale December 20, 2021 - 1 pm est, 24 hours, Public December 21, 2021 - 1 pm est

Chris from NFT Calendar: What will be the minting price for each SprayCan NFT? Is the gas fee too high?

NFT Caviar: Minting price depends on how many of our previous nfts they hold. 5 or more Museum NFT = 0.075eth+gas, 3 or more Museum NFT = 0.08eth+gas, Public = 0.1Eth + gas

Chris from NFT Calendar: We know all about Artist Campbell La Pun. Who else is on the core team? How do they contribute?

NFT Caviar: The team consist of 4 community managers who have handled marketing, communications and organizing the drop

We have one developer working behind the scenes to make sure the websites, open sea, contracts and technical issues are solved

Mainly NFT Caviar, who is the main artist of the Museum is here guiding and helping create the artwork and putting it into digital form. Basically bring all the art ideas and getting the art on the blockchain. Caviar’s vision with his Museum NFT project is that he wants to bring incredible artists and provide the platform he has created to help the artists grow their brand over the internet, which is very valuable these days to create a connection and bringing more people onboard to appreciate pure art.

Chris from NFT Calendar: Meanwhile, what are your plans for the future? Do you plan to collaborate with other popular Spray Can artists as well?

NFT Caviar: Yes we have already discussed future drops with Campbell and various of other artists. We see the future of the Museum being DAO operated, this helps ensure that the community interested are paramount. The Museum team is already at work on a collection which looks to drop early February, where rewards will be given to those that hold a Museum and Campbell NFTs. The Museum team is very adamant on rewarding those that have followed us from the beginning and building a strong community around the loyal followers we have amassed thus far.

Additionally, the future plans are bringing new artists onboard to create small exclusive drops or sometimes we like to call it morphs that can help build their presence online and get their art work on blockchain and provide the platform for any other projects to come interact and share the space. Spray Cans is just one incredible idea, there are various different art works we want to aim for. There is not a set agenda, we are always recruiting artists to see what fits our needs and our crowd. We want to keep it pure art and reward our Museum Holders. They are the most important to us. We want to bring variety to our holders, so they can pick and choose what they like to collect. Biggest thing of the future is we love to appreciate history, BAYC are big history in our nft world. I will be creating a drop similar to like Museum NFT drop and spice things up to step up to the next level with it. People will have to stay tuned for it.

Chris from NFT Calendar: Last but not least, Does each NFT holder also get a physical copy?

NFT Caviar: 12 physicals exist in 2 different forms. 10 high quality prints will be signed by Campbell La Pun and be sent to 10 random holders. Two additional original hand painted stencil art spray cans will be given to two lucky holders. These are originally valued at $6K and they take about a week to create. People can check out here to see the different Stencil Art hand painted versions that vary from $4-30K US dollars range.
