One of the Pieces we Sold was able to Save 4 Monkeys from being Euthanized —An Interview with AQOMI

AQOMI is the Creator of RED Series — The Animal Kingdom Collection. I really enjoyed talking to Aqomi because of the mission his project sets out to achieve. Hopefully, you'll feel the vibe of our conversation from the highlights of the talk down below. Let's get into it.

Chris: The animal artwork is neat! What inspired you to bring in animal NFTs? Do the colors have any specific meaning?

Aqomi: The animals are something I started working on 5 years ago. I played a lot of video games and wanted to create avatars that people could use. I've added new animals since then and now it's quickly becoming a brand. The colors stand for rarity, BLUE being the first color and most rare. Each color has a different rarity. You can learn more on the website or in the description of the OpenSea Collection.

Chris: Each NFT has a different price attached to it. Why is it so?

Aqomi: Each animal in the collection has a different amount of editions or copies. This is what makes certain animals more rare and worth more.

Chris: Your roadmap is full of giveaways at every benchmark. Do you also support animal welfare organizations through the money raised?

Aqomi: Yes actually I released a few animated pieces and donated the proceeds. One of the pieces we sold was able to save 4 monkeys from being euthanized. It feels great to help and I'm looking at other organizations to support for our big 10,000 piece drop next month.

Chris: Do you plan to have a presale or airdrop soon? When and how many NFTs would be up for the first sale?

Aqomi: Yes we are doing whitelist for RED SERIES right now and I have a feeling we might sell out before the public sale. I love doing airdrops and allowing holders to claim new pieces just for hodling. Our discord is the place to find out more details.

Chris: Alright, so what are the gas fees? Are they pretty high?

Aqomi: If you can get a Whitelist spot we allow for up to 72 hours to claim the pieces. This allows for the option of buying when gas in low. Public sale is a whole new beast. I love scheduling my drops really late at night for lower fees, but sometimes it's a gas war.

Chris: Your previous animal tokens have been quite successful. What marketing initiatives have been taken to make the RED SERIES follow suit?

Aqomi: Building a strong foundation. Our community is so unique and they're always first to buy. I think people see that and are intrigued as to what makes this project so special...It's something we've built organically

Chris: If it is not too much disclosure, could you please define the rarities of the new RED SERIES?

Aqomi: So we've done something a little different for RED SERIES. Unlike other drops, this time we decided to create the same amount of editions of each animal. This allows the market to decide what's hotter based on look and not supply. The market will let us know which pieces are most sought after.
