The main characters of Utan'Clan are currently 6 (10 in the future) real orangutans living in Borneo and Sumatra: Mona, Victoria, Banir, Hope, Mamat and Siboy. The Utan'Clan team has built a good relationship with Orangutan Rescue. Orangutan Rescue protects the orangutan and its habitat. On Borneo, they support the Sintang Orangutan Center in West Kalimantan, among others. In Sumatra they support the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Porgramme.
