Unvirtual Paris, occurring February 5th through the 8th, 2022, is a groundbreaking NFT Art Fair culminating in the world's first live auction in the Metaverse on February 8th.  The event is organized by Aguttes Auction House.  Three categories of NFT works will be offered during the live auction: Digital Art (videos, generative, photos), Digital Fashion and Design, and Digital Sound Art.
The various events will be simultaneously held in Paris, France and virtually in the Metaverse, where participants will have the opportunity to discover NFTs, attend lectures and workshops, interact with artists and curators, and participate in the live auction. A "meta-mediator" will be available for group visits in the metaverse by appointment.
The live auction will include NFTs by 20 internationally renowned and emerging artists and crypto artists with price estimates ranging from 1100€ (~0.5ETH) to 100 000€ (~44ETH).  Featured artists include: Andy Picci, AntoineSchmitt , Corentin Sauvage, David Pons, Eduardo Kac, Emo de Medeiros, Sabrina Ratté and Frank Hollywood. Notably, a curated selection of NFTs based on the work of Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai will be auctioned with the proceeds benefitting the British Museum.

The auction's featured lot is a 3D NFT of the Martian Cathedral by David Pons along with a contract for the cathedral in the Spatial Metaverse. Proceeds from this lot will benefit the restoration of the Latin Chapel in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Unvirtual Paris will offer various workshops. both in person and in the Metaverse, with NFT/Metaverse experts such as Sylvain Levy (DSL Collection), Masha Maskina (art advisor and curator), Dominique Moulon (independent curator and art critic) and Pau Waelder (new media art critic, curator and researcher), as well as various NFT artists.

Unvirtual Paris is a collaboration between the NFT Artatak platform, Aguttes Auction House, Galerie Charlot, LaCollection.io, Spatial.io and Samsung.
French regulations: As French jurisdiction does not allow the sale of intangible goods, all NFT works will have a physical representation, and it is this representation that will be offered for sale. A physical work will be associated with its NFT, which both will become the property of the successful bidder.
