Inspired by the Million Dollar Homepage, we set out to build an immutable version. The 21MMpixels contract is our vision in action. Each owner has complete control within their 2,500 pixel, 10,000 pixel or 40,000 pixel tile with an immutable record of 60 bytes, and the ability to update its URL. 21MMpixels ensures that your piece of history is never part of a decaying digital artifact. You control your portion of the 21 million pixels image every time you set your tile image.
8,400 original 2,500 pixel tiles. Every tile is a unique permanent part of the 21MM pixels. Just like Bitcoin, limits are limits. Collect and merge four adjacent tiles to create a 10,000-pixel big tile. Feeling bold? Collect and merge four big tiles to create a 40,000-pixel super tile.
Set your tile image at any time. Helper functions in the contract make storing and retrieving IPFS hashes, Arweave Tx Id's and Base64URLs simple. Want to make the record for your tile permanent? The lockToken function ensures no one can ever modify the image data associated with your tile.
The location of each tile is defined in the contract, and not subject to mysterious metadata files, and your image records are stored immutably on the Ethereum blockchain.
