A bale of turtles has hatched onto the Ethereum blockchain. Please come and say hello to 3000 pixel art collectibles. Each unique algorithmically generated turtle has a distinct combination of shell color and body color, with various footwear, hats, medals, and upgrades.
No cookie-cutter downloadable layering programs were used in the production of these turtles, each one was lovingly drawn by hand and coded from scratch as I taught myself Python programming to generate the images. Many hairs were torn out as I grappled with file formats and many more energy drinks were consumed as I worked late into the night to eliminate those pesky bugs.
The vast majority of turtles are 0.01 ETH + gas with a handful of the rarer ones just a little higher.
