First painting I ever made

This painting was made to symbolize my resilience during my battle with cancer.
Story: I decided one day that I was going to try painting as a way to express my story. So I purchased a canvas, a pack of pencils and began to draw... An hour later I had a drawing of a man, a woman inside the man, and the earth inside both of them. I then began painting over the sketch. I instantly ruined it. I had a complete brown mess of paint and fought the urge to open my back door and throw my painting into the woods. I was 95% sure I was going to trash this painting, but the 5% of me kicked in and said. "You can't throw away this dream... you need to sleep on it". So I slept.
The next day I woke up and added drips along the top of the canvas - I was happier with it. I then realized, "hmm, this process is about patience" So I slept on it again.
I woke the third day and completed the painting.
It was my road to positivity.
