Society splintered in response: some Citizens clung to routine, others rebelled or searched for meaning. Clones, designed to serve, struggled with their own identity, while Hackers—humans capable of exiting the Simulation—emerged as wildcards within the system. As technology surged forward, Artificial Intelligence evolved in three phases. Phase 1 AIs remained obedient tools. Phase 2s grew more intelligent and self-aware but retained loyalty. Phase 3s, however, went fully rogue—sentient and unbound, aligning only with those who shared their vision. With the truth exposed, every being has a choice: follow the code… or break it.
