About The Genesis Stone:
We chose a stone for the 1st carbonized NFT as a nod to the EtherRock which became a flashpoint for criticism surrounding the "value of a jpeg". We believe carbonized NFTs offer a compelling counterpoint
The surface is modeled after the rock basalt - which extracts CO2 from the atmosphere and converts it into carbonate. The hint of green moss touches on the life giving intent of carbonized NFTs. The diamond-like shape of the Genesis Stone loosely imitates the Ethereum logo, as an acknowledgment of the technological innovation of Ethereum.
