The Speculative Collection is a collection of 50 NFTs that captures the current NFT speculation phenomenon.
Each piece is called a Spek, the name derived from Speculative Token, and is identified by its creation number.
Every Spek represents the speculative role of most NFTs in the current market, which makes Spek, in an artistic sense, a sort of NFT of NFTs.
On top of that, a particular Spek can have up to 4 traits that represent famous assets of the speculation history, such as stocks, currencies, real estate, and even Tulips!.

The base concept is speculation. The purchase of an asset with the hope that it will become more valuable in the near future.
In finance, speculation is also the practice of engaging in risky financial transactions in an attempt to profit from short term fluctuations in the market value of a tradable financial instrument rather than attempting to profit from the underlying financial attributes embodied in the instrument such as value addition, return on investment, or dividends.
How NFTs are related to speculation?
NFTs have taken the virtues of the art market and the crypto market and created the best conditions in history for a speculative market.
At the moment, NFTs act as the perfect instrument for speculation, as they are mostly artistic assets with difficult value estimation and very easy to trade thanks to their decentralized market.
What this project aims to achieve is to capture this particular phenomenon in a collection of NFTs.
