"The Path of Truth" is a collection of 55 unique 1/1 photos from a Himalayan expedition to Satopanth Tal- a mystical high-altitude glacial lake situated at 15,000 ft. Translated from traditional Sanskrit, Sat-o’ means ‘Of truth’ and ‘Panth’ means ‘Pathway’. Together ‘Satopanth’ translates to 'the pathway towards the ultimate truth'.
Legend has it that the three corners of Satopanth Lake are presided over by the Universal Holy Trinity, mentioned in ancient Indian scriptures. Brahma, the creator, Vishnu, the preserver, and Shiva, the destroyer, are believed to be meditating in the three corners and charting the course of the cosmos towards the Greater Good.
This collection has been created by the founders of OURS during our own personal travels in the higher Himalayas.
