1000 years in the future, earth’s mightiest nations have fallen, in the aftermath of radiation, DNA warfare, climate collapse and mass extinction. An Immortal AI has watched over it all with the mission of restoring humanity to the earth once again.
Life and nations rise again, changed by mutation, genetic redesign and surgical alteration to survive the toxic hellscape. These are the Presidents of the New States of Mutant America, resurrected as engineered beings by the Immortal AI, and rendered here as living illustrations by Qi Zero. This is the first installment of a larger story, told through art - detailing the fall of humanity, and the rise of the immortal machines who re-engineered life on earth.
All images in this collection are created through a new collaborative process developed by the artist that uses a collection of machine learning models in concert with one another to allow more nuanced art direction and the generation of 3d content.
Two tiers of content are present - a premium edition of 46 1-of-1, single-issue Signature Edition living paintings, denoted by the gold leaf style border and the "QiØ" logo signature in the corner.
The Signature Edition NFTs are produced at 2048x3072 resolution suitable for viewing even on large format UHD displays. They also contain unlockable content that enables viewing the artwork in 3D on current Looking Glass Factory Portrait holographic displays, as well as additional views and depth information that will enable the collection to be enjoyed well into the future on display technologies yet to be commercially available.
Limited edition non-moving variants will also be part of the collection, minted with a supply of 100, for collectors and traders. These are also produced at 2048x3072 but do not contain animation or depth data.
The collection goes on sale on May 2nd, 2022.
