The Giro d’Italia logo was restyled in 2017 for the 100th edition, combining the symbols of the event in a graphical form including the Trofeo senza Fine – the emblem of the final victory – with a rider wearing the Maglia Rosa. The symbol of the infinite becomes the core of the Giro’s new identity, an endless love that has been warming and filling the hearts of cycling enthusiasts, insiders and riders throughout the world and the generations for more than 100 editions.
Organized for the first time by the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in 1909, the Giro d’Italia is one of the three most important road bicycle races in the world. It is a unique heritage that had the merit of unifying and valorizing the country by bringing with it distinctive values such as passion, sacrifice, respect, history and tradition, modernity and innovation, entertainment and social responsibility. Thanks to the participation and growing interest of media and broadcasters, in recent years the Giro d’Italia reached beyond national boundaries to be followed all over the world.
