On May 18th, a prominent figure in the art world Kenny Schachter is dropping ‘The Hoarder’ NFT Collection on Nifty Gateway.
Kenny is a person of many talents. He is a digital artist, writer, and lecturer on history, economics, and the machinations of the art world. He muses a lot on the collision of traditional art and NFT.
‘The Hoarder’ NFT drop is “in the vein of an epic (micro) horror movie, probably the only of its kind made especially for release as an NFT, in what will be the first in an ongoing series of episodes”. The collection features four videos where the main character is overwhelmed, crushed, and suffocated by the sheer breadth of a physical art collection. This is a phenomenon that (most) digital art buyers will never come face to face with.
