The 81-year-old rock-n-roll icon Ringo Starr is jumping on an NFT submarine and starts off conquering the realm. Ringo's dynamic collection titled The Creative Mind of a Beatle will be auctioned off via Julien’s Auction House on June 13th.
There will be only 20 NFT put up for auction, with four copies of the basic five tokens. The bids start at $1,000, while a lump of proceeds will go to the Lotus Foundation, the NGO, which assists families facing economic hardships, alongside aiding children to complete their education.
Each NFT in the series consists of an animated, tokenized art piece and a drum accompaniment by the legendary Beatle. Moreover, each digital asset comes paired with its physical 25” X 25” canvas print signed by the iconic musician, as well as an opportunity to join Starr on an exclusive virtual tour of his groundbreaking digital gallery experience, RingoLand.
As for the latter, the virtual gallery RingoLand created in partnership with the Spatial framework is a metaverse space where fans can explore Ringo Starr's digital art, meet the legend in VR, and socialize. Thus, all winning bidders will be able to meet Ringo virtually using Spatial.io – a metaverse for events, exhibitions, and tons of VR experiences right after the auction.
