In January of 2020, we took our first trip to South Africa. We love to travel and share a passion for wildlife photography. On one of the final days of our trip, we went to Kruger National Park to take a safari tour in hopes to catch some unforgettable moments. However, upon arrival, the park staff was removing the deceased body of a large female elephant who had been poached. It truly was a terrible sight and left us both with a pit in our stomachs.
That moment always stuck with us, and when we began to get involved in NFT’s, it clicked. On our own, we struggled to raise any significant amount of capital, but with the help of the NFT community – the potential to raise awareness and to contribute was limitless. Thus, the Chill Elephants Club was created.
