Meet the first-ever NFT drop created by Bud Light! This digital endeavor is a result of launching a new, zero-carb beer ahead of Super Bowl LVI, dubbed Bud Light NEXT. 

Budweiser, being the sports event's official sponsor and partner, is launching a series of NFTs to promote the better-for-you beverage. Thus, the Bud Light N3XTs Collection includes 12,722 unique tokens designed in the blue and white color hues of the new brew's packaging. A two-part background with an icon that represents beer, culture, gaming, music, and entertainment are featured on each NFT. There will be two types of rarities: N3XT and Diamond, which will be revealed after mint. All holders of these NFTs will get access to exclusive benefits such as brand merch, voting rights, and lots more. 

The Bud Light NFTs will see the world on February 6, just a week before the Super Bowl. Keep in mind that each NFT can be purchased by aged 21+ collectors exclusively from the US at $399 in ETH for a piece.

"What we're seeing in the space... is NFTs are continuing to redefine how we think about community and ownership, technology, all of those things," explained Corey Brown, senior digital director at Bud Light. "And at the same time, Bud Light since 1982 has always been about innovation. So right now, what better time to launch something of this magnitude than when we ourselves are redefining the beer landscape with this new product called Bud Light Next."

Though Bud Light's NFT doesn't provide holders with the physical drink, each Bud Light N3XT comes with adjacent perks mentioned above. The main idea behind this collection is “to celebrate innovation, community and the next generation of creators”
