The 71-year-old actor and comedian Bill Murray is about to reveal great life stories in The Bill Murray 1000 NFT collection. According to Bill's son Jackson Murray, his father wants to share fun stories from his about half-a-century-long career in entertainment in the form of digital art.
The Bill Murray 1000 series of tokens will be based on 100 stories from Murray’s career, including his work on the Saturday Night Live show alongside Ghostbusters and other films he starred in. The collection offers 100 story-backed NFTs containing anecdotes, observations, advice, memories, Murray-isms, and other pearls from the genius actor's lifetime piggy bank. Moreover, each original story/design combination is available in nine additional colorways to form The Bill Murray 1000 NFT collection.
The blockchain company Initiative Venkman, the flagship Chive Media Group’s website The Chive, artist David Gizzle, and Bill Murray himself are collaborating to bring the 1000 collectibles to life. The collection will be dwelling on the Ethereum blockchain.
The idea of The Bill Murray 1000 project creation came to the actor after he had talked to John Resig, the co-founder, and president of The Chive. Then Bill Murray showed great interest in blockchain and NFTs. So now, the comedian is considering non-fungible opportunities as his next stage of growth and development.
The 1000 NFT collectibles will be all based on the original David Gizzle Murray painting with unique backgrounds. In addition to the top-tier artwork, the NFTs will serve as membership cards that will reward collectors with VIP passes to exclusive IRL events where they can meet the iconic comedian in person.
