Rodeo Brito is a cape verdean artist born in the island of Praia. In his early twenties, Rodeo Brito took the decision to leave his country and to pursue his dreams of one day becoming a full-time artist based in France. His works are inspired by the beauty of life, ancient history, humankind, music, the present moment, and his own personal story. Rodeo uses multiple mediums to create his art. From music to poems Rodeo constantly attempts to tell a personal story. He tends to describe his chaotic drawing style as Visual Jazz, in which he uses his subconscious to create shapes and symbols. A visual maze for the viewer who is thrown left and right by directions and words. An improvised style inspired by the energy of 1960 Jazz musicians who were constantly improvising their sounds.
