A collection of 120 hand drawn pixelated African tribal masks representing unique parts of African and worldwide Culture.

Why African Roots?

Well because why not? I'm African, these are our roots. And in the NFT space, there aren’t a lot of African projects out there. And among the ones that are out there none of them go as deep as we've gone. With this project we're bringing Africa out a bit more into the world through nfts.

The Roots will inspire stories and tales of Africa.

 That is our aim.

Joining the Afro Roots movement guarantees you access to exclusive content of the project and a chance to win one of the custom NFTs being made for followers of the cause in WL giveaways. Roots holders will actually have a say in what S2 of the Roots might look like when the time comes. Joining the Afro Roots Project wouldn't just be joining any community, it would be joining a family of Roots, supporters who see the world as we do. It's a family planning on staying active even after project drop because as mentioned, there will be a S2. So join us now, be part of this movement!

About the Roots S1

The Roots S1 is focused on African Tribal masks, We have a total of 120 pieces. 9 base masks, each with different variations summing up to 120 art pieces. One of the masks is a replica of the popular Benin ivory mask of Idia, the queen mother.

This piece manages to be the rarest with the least amount of variations, the most uncommon background and the only base with variations being "Gold Editions”.

Each piece of the Roots is hand drawn using Adobe Illustrator and no code.
