Nina had always been artistic, drawing and painting as a child, but it wasn't until she met her husband that she began to appreciate the surrealist art movement. He introduced her to works like Magritte's The Treachery of Images and Johns' The Blob, works that challenged her concepts of reality.
Since meeting him, Nina's artwork has taken on a more surrealistic aspect, focusing more on dreamlike landscapes and abstractions.
