Stiff Competition: 1994 is a six-character collectible art drop on Polygon — a cancelled 1990s action figure line, recovered and released as digital art you buy without a wallet.
The cast: Major Wood, The Rear Admiral, Hammerin' Hanky, The Grip, Slick Willy and The Velvet Python. Around 700 pieces, roughly 120 per character, across five issue grades and several series.
Every piece is individually art-directed. These are composed scenes — a character at a podium, on a bridge, halfway up a landmark — not trait-generated recombinations of hats and backgrounds across a 10,000-piece supply. Most collections cannot say that.
