Sobi Mask Project is a collection of 222 unique pixel masks inspired by centuries-old Chinese traditions. Each mask is the result of a pixel artist's handwork, where not only animation and color palette, but also deep symbolism reflecting the rich culture of the Celestial Empire are thought out. The release of the collection is timed to coincide with the Chinese New Year, which marks the renewal and beginning of a new cycle, further emphasizing the importance of masks as cultural amulets and objects of art.
