Sheepverse is an adventure story set in a world where humans have disappeared and sheep have become the dominant species. They live in the remains and echoes of human civilization. The main character is tinkerer and inventor Viktor Zweistein, a true legend among sheep. He puts together a team to join him on his quest to unveil one of the greatest mysteries of all time: the disappearance of mankind. Adventures, riddles and lost treasures are waiting for them along the way. They have to prove themselves against dark forces that do everything to keep the past concealed.
The Sheepverse story is longer term. Chapter one takes Viktor and his crew to a mysterious island, where they encounter a big surprise. In subsequent chapters, space and the deep sea will play an important role. Each chapter is accompanied by another NFT collection that picks up on the theme.
The cast of the story is composed of members of the flock of sheep NFTs. Accordingly, the community of NFT holders will have influence on the development of the plot. It will also be involved in the action via mini-games, puzzles and raffles.
Chapter one's lineup includes 12,345 unique sheep NFTs (ERC-721), 12,222 of which can be purchased and 123 of which can be won in raffles. A total of 239 hand-drawn traits were digitized and combined into unique sheep. These traits are distributed over 13 attributes, of which a sheep can have between 4 and 13. Mandatory attributes include "Background", "Wool Colour", "Mouth" and "Eyes", optional attributes include "Body", "Hand", "Tattoo", "Necklace", "Ears", "Mouth Accessory", "Face", "Glasses" and "Headwear". Some of the traits are references to human pop culture, which is revered by the sheep.
At least 20% of the revenue will go back to the holders of the sheep. The rest will be invested in Sheepverse and future projects.
