Repin and Aivazovsky NFT Artworks by Kharkiv Art Museum and Binance

One of the world's largest cryptocurrency ecosystems Binance, and its prized Binance NFT marketplace has joined efforts with one of Ukraine's oldest art landmarks, Kharkiv Art Museum, to auction off 15 of its invaluable exhibits as NFTs. The main idea behind the collection is to support Ukrainian cultural heritage. Currently, around 25,000 masterpieces of fine art from Ukraine, Western Europe, the Middle and the Far East of the 15th–21st centuries are kept there.

The 15-piece NFT collection entitled Art without Borders features masterpieces by eminent artists and falls into three types, with five artworks each: Gold, with a starting bid of 1,000 BUSD, Silver, beginning with 750 BUSD, and Bronze, with a price starting at 500 BUSD.

Thus, the Gold tier NFTs include digital reproductions of these renowned artworks: 

1. Aivazovsky I.K., View of Venice from Lido, 1854.
2. Henryk Siemiradzki, Isaurian pirates selling their booty, 1880.
3. Georgius Jacobus Johannes van Os, Bouquet of flowers
4. Albrecht Dürer, The Walk. Approximately 1496-1498.
5. Germany, Ludwigsburg, Marriage contract sculpture of the late 18th century.

The Silver tier NFTs include:

1. Repin I.Y., Zaporozhian Cossacks writing a letter to the Turkish Sultan, 1889-1880.
2. Simon de Vlieger, Seascape, 1634.
3. Hans van Sant, Breakfast, 17th century.
4. Joos van Cleve, The Virgin and Child, 16th century.
5. Bashkirtseva M.K, Over the book, 1880.

And, finally, the Bronze artworks are as follows:

1. Burachek M. G., Sunflowers Etude, 1917.
2. Golembievska T.M., Ukrainian Cumans, 1960.
3. Andievska E., Around the basket with carrots, 1995.
4. China, The Ming Dynasty, A stove in the form of a cat, 1426-1436.
5. Tkachenko M.S., Spring. Small village, 1907.

The auction started on October 13th and would last for a week. All funds raised from the auction will go on the museum's needs, including the artworks' restoration, as well as securing more jobs.
