Gerard George is New York-born plant and flower industry veteran with 15+ years of experience. With a background in sales and building systems for international powerhouse brands, his latest project aims to deepen connections within the plant industry using blockchain and web3 technology.
Nodes are the first NFT plant community: with ON and OFF-CHAIN benefits. Made by a minority-founded, female-led team of creatives with the intention of driving shoppers to support small plant businesses.

We decided to create stylized, hand-drawn depictions of common New York City houseplants for numerous reasons. When you buy a Node, you can redeem such a plant from your local participating plant shop—merging NFTs with the real world. We also see potential for future collections that will feature larger, more evolved versions of these seedlings as the project progresses. The artist for this collection was Comet Blecha, a NY-based female artist.
