Onchain started with one of the most iconic moments in crypto. In 2017, over 14,000 BTC were raised in what became one of the largest ICO in history. That moment led to the creation of the Onchain Foundation, based in Switzerland, with nearly $100 million in public treasury to fund a simple but powerful mission: bring the world onchain.
But money isn’t what moves the space forward. People do. Ideas do. That’s why we’ve spent the past year building something deeper: a platform for decentralized knowledge. A place where anyone can contribute research, launch quests, get paid, and earn recognition for real thought leadership in Web3.
This isn’t a blog or just a media site. It’s infrastructure. We’re setting new standards for onchain intelligence, with real methodology, credible contributors, and clear incentives. Everything is permissionless. If you’ve got the skills and the drive, you can contribute. You can get paid. You can shape the future.
So far, we’ve published over 128,000 research entries, each one a piece of the larger puzzle. The full platform is coming soon, but we’re not waiting around.
Right now, we’re building the core community. The Founding Membership is our way of bringing that group together. It’s a call for the believers. A commitment. A way to reward those aligned early and help them grow with the ecosystem.
