We recorded Hardcore Uproar in a budget 16 track studio late at night in the back streets of city centre Manchester in 1989. Soon after the test pressing were given to a handful of DJ’s it became obvious this was not our record anymore but this belonged to all of the people who went to the raves it was named after. This limited NFT Collection features the original artwork that launched rave towards the top of the UK Charts.
The snowball effect the record had upon its release was unprecedented for an unknown record by an unknown artist - truely marking a special moment in music history. Originally snapped up by Pete Tong, the record quickly charted and was played on Top of the Pops 4 times without any support from Radio 1 and became an anthem at the Hacienda in its journey from white label to top 20 chart hit.
Each NFT in this collection is 1 of 1.
