Money Laundering 2: The Unbanked is a collection of 111 one-of-one banknotes from a fictional financial system built on a Metaverse Dollar. Each piece is its own currency, remixing familiar icons, brands, artists, weapons, junk food, institutions and memes into a new visual language of value.
Together, these notes challenge the logic of the old economy, disrupt the stories we’ve been sold about “real” money and invite you to step outside the system and be your own bank.
