The main character Eve finds a universe where 3000 different versions of herself exist, each with their own special traits and experiences. Eve was sent to Earth in the year 2805 to look for a plant and to determine whether or not humans might survive there. If it were, Axiom, the ship on which all humanity now reside, would fly back.
