On a deep black background, as if in the airless space of space, a transparent glass glass with water is depicted. It contains a hyacinth bulb, which has released a delicate green sprout, reaching out to the invisible light. Its white roots, like lace, intertwine in the water, creating a complex, almost futuristic pattern.
The work was done with acrylic markers on contrasts: emerald shoots, milky-white roots, the play of light on glass and a dark background. All the highlights and subtle details are worked out with a white gel pen, adding shimmer and volume.
Living with takane is a symbol of growth, fragility and transformation: even in a minimalist form, life breaks through the darkness, finding support in purity and simplicity.
