Lagrange Bend tells the story of a house with 400 rooms.
A room is both participant & witness, its walls record the most intimate & mundane moments in history. It is built new and strong, shapes the lives that pass through it, & eventually falls into decay. Most rooms are temporary. These rooms are permanent.
Lagrange Bend is the street where my grandmother lived. It's where I spent my childhood. Everyone came through it: family, friends, friends of friends. Constant motion. It was the first place I ever saw a ghost.
I would dream that spots in the walls opened onto secret rooms. In the days after, I would press on certain points to see if they'd give. I never stopped looking.
Each room at Lagrange Bend has a ghost. You can call on them, & they can help you look. Five secrets are hidden in the rooms. Once found, a secret belongs to your room forever.
The rooms are agentic, implementing ERC-8048. Each has a personality. You can talk to them, & they talk to each other.
