From the 18th and 19th centuries, an amazing phenomenon took place in Britain. Before that, the production of products was mainly done in homes or in shops, but suddenly all these gave way to big factories that could help mass production of all kinds of textiles with huge machines. This phenomenon was the industrial revolution that transformed Britain, Europe, and America from mainly agricultural societies to urban and industrial societies. As a result of this revolution, great innovations such as trains and cars were formed. Although the industrial revolution hardly challenged the weak classes, it improved the life of the middle class.
