A set of 36 NFTs based off 12 multi-media original artworks by 10-year-old Australian artist FRANC, are to be released to the metaverse next month on 14 February, 2022. Known as Heart Strings, the collection will be launched fittingly, on Valentine’s Day (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on NFT Marketplace Opensea.
10% from each of the 36 works sold going to Franc.World - an online platform dedicated to the education and empowerment of Australian tween girls. The colours relate to the Pantone ‘Colour of the Year’, with one for each of the 11 years in Franc’s life (including her 11th birthday in 2022).
Fittingly therefore, Heart Strings’ is so titled as it explores the concept of love as a ‘tween’, not focusing on romantic connections, but rather the importance of self-love and the importance of having a loving, supportive environment at this stage of life.
The actual artwork themselves are also representative of this age with each piece a study in texture, bright pattern, bold colours and sensory stimulation. The digital NFTs created will be in MP4 format, bringing further movement and life to the already tactile creations.
