WEN room mint?
The genesis room mint will begin on the 14th of December at 6pm CET | 12pm EST | 9am PST. Total Genesis Room supply is 1,300. This is the one and only time you’ll be able to mint a genesis room.
We will have two stages to the mint: whitelist (WL) and reserve list (RL) mint, followed by a public sale. We (as well as our partners) have been running events in the past month where we have given out WL spots. There are only 1,000 WL spots available as we’re not overallocating. In addition to the WL, we also have a reserve list for those who don’t get a WL spot.
Schedule for mint day
The minting starts by selling Presidential Suites during the first hour of the mint. From 6pm CET until 6:30pm CET only wallets in the whitelist can mint. From 6:30pm until 7pm both wallets on the WL and wallets on the reserve list can mint. Only Presidential Suites are available between 6pm — 7pm. At 7pm CET the Presidential Suite sale ends and we start selling Executive Suites. Again, the first half an hour is only for wallets on the WL and the second half an hour is for wallets on WL or RL. We will open the Junior Suite sale at 8pm CET, Studio Room sale at 9pm CET and Regular Room sale at 10pm CET.
You can buy one NFT per half hour. That is, if you are on the WL, you can buy one Presidential Suite during the WL sale and another one during the WL + RL sale. In other words, wallets on the WL can buy one more room than wallets on the RL per room type.
After the Regular Room WL+RL sale ends, and if there is still supply left, we will open the public sale where anyone can mint. There are no restrictions on how many rooms you can buy during the public sale. There will be a maximum of two rooms per transaction, however.
Room types and sizes
The area in Habbo where you can build and walk in is divided into tiles. This is also true in Habbo X. Therefore, we count the size of a room in tiles: the bigger the room you own, the more tiles you can place in your room (and, consequently, more furniture you can fit there!)

ALL Habbo X players will have access to a demo room that is more limited in its features and that isn’t an NFT. The demo room is capped at 35 tiles (see below image).
As well as having more room to build in, the bigger rooms also earn more base NFT credits and have a higher ceiling on the NFTC gains. We also aim to give bigger rooms more space on the world/hotel map. This will mean your room’s icon will be more visible to people browsing the map.

The tiles indicate the maximum size of the room of the given type. You don’t have to use all the tiles available and you can edit the layout very easily with our floorplan editor. You can go nuts and create any type of layout with multiple floors, and you can even remove parts of the floor in the middle of rooms.
Each room comes pre-decorated. You can use that as the starting point or remove all furniture (use command :ejectall) and start from scratch. Don’t worry if you make a mistake — there’s a reset button you can use to revert back to the original design.
We already have fantastic tools for building and our plan is to improve them to provide the best possible building tools in the Web3 space.
In addition, if you sell your room the design is kept — minus the NFT furni you have used. All NFT furni is picked up and placed in your inventory, but the free furni stays where it is.
