Fegarra released the first NFT drop; The Moodboard Series. The series consists of four paintings. The first work ( Late Afternoon Shopping ) is released as a one of a kind. The other NFTs are editioned as a series of seven copies. All NFTs are listed on OpenSea
The first three paintings in the series use strong directional illumination, catching the interplay of light during sunset. The impasto strokes further enhance the impact of the light, adding incredible detail and giving the work a sculptural quality. Contrasting the detailed paint texture is the clean and abstract composition. Just a few lines are used to define the setting.
The fourth Moodboard diverges from the rest and captures the feel of artificial illumination. The paint surface is illuminated by the neon glow of the text and the logo shield. Abstract forms are used as paint strokes. This leads to a tapestry of interwoven forms and colors.
All paintings from the Moodboard series are created using the Fegarra Impasto technique. This is an exclusive digital tool developed in-house which took its inspiration from impasto painting.
