The award-winning singer, songwriter, actress, and philanthropist Mariah Carey is now adding another conquered peak to her piggy bank of endeavors. This time, the diva is jumping into the web3 with her only one exclusive NFT.
The first non-fungible token by Mariah Carey is designed in a form of the first class Butterfly Airways boarding pass, which contains tons of utilities for its holder. The NFT has been put up for auction with a starting bid of $5,000 in $JAM, the native token of the Geojam NFT trading platform. The bidding ends on June 9th, with the Songwriters Hall of Fame experience taking place on June 15th and 16th. A portion of proceeds from the NFT sale will benefit The Fresh Air Fund, an organization that Mariah Carey has supported since the very start of her brilliant career.
Now, to the perks. The winning bidder will be allowed to meet Carey and fly with her on a private jet to New York later this month. The reason for the trip is that the diva will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Moreover, the NFT holder will be sitting with Carey at her table during the actual induction ceremony.
The NFT asset, meantime, is designed in Carey’s signature “pink-yet-lavender” colorway and accented with glitter. The artist will also create a custom audio recording to go along with the NFT release.
