In Taiwanese newspapers, the job advertisement page stands out visually, packed with information yet difficult to read, yearning for responses. I find this an intriguing form of dialogue.
However, with the rise of online job platforms and the development of the internet, fewer people seek jobs through newspapers. The circulation of Taiwanese newspapers has halved over the past decade. Thus, I believe this form of dialogue might one day disappear.
This artwork is dedicated to those who once engaged in this form of dialogue and the designers who manually arranged these pages.
