Drift by Michael Alstad is a new interactive digital artwork originating from footage recorded in Toronto's industrial Port Lands, prior to the area's extensive ecological transformation. A solitary plant becomes a responsive, shifting form, reacting to the viewer's movement and touch through visual distortions and an atmospheric soundscape.
