On June 29th, electronic music duo The Knocks in collaboration with multidisciplinary artist Ida Chelengar aka Moistbreezy drop the ‘Disco Fucks’ NFT Collection.
‘Disco Fucks’ features 3 NFT pieces: '25 Cent Support' (an Edition of 15) will be available at Drawing, 'Disco Fucks' (an Edition of 10) will be available at Silent Auction, and 'Unconditional Love' (an Edition of 1) will be available at Auction.
The "Disco Sucks" movement of 1979 was a racist and homophobic backlash attacking both the music and communities of minorities. The campaign, led by a white radio DJ in Chicago, focused on desecrating disco and its influence on pop culture and the artists who created it. Disco helped to shape modern house, hip-hop, pop, and club culture. The upcoming drop ‘DISCO FUCKS’ by The Knocks x Moistbreezy is here to celebrate and empower these communities.
