The icon of the 20th-century rock music arena, unsurpassed David Bowie, left a rich legacy, covering music, art, and cinema. Unfortunately, the idol perished in January 2016, but his 140+ million records, tons of films, and the Grammy’s Lifetime Achievement Award allow him to live forever. David's star keeps shining in the hearts of his fans, and now, the whole army of connoisseurs can embrace David Bowie's legacy in the realm of NFTs.

Now, Melos Studio, the Bowie estate, the rock star's personal photographer Denis O'Regan, and the Starly NFT marketplace have partnered to launch the David Bowie NFT collection. The most outstanding drop consists of the never-before-seen footage and unreleased music from the legend's late years.

David Bowie NFT collectibles dropped on January 27 and will be available for purchase till February 3rd. The collection compiles 12,000 NFTs, which fall into 1×120 Legendary Cards, 3×1000 Rare Cards, and 4×2220 Common Cards accordingly.

The collectibles dropped in the Mystery Packs format, where each contains 1 Rare card, 2 Common cards, and 1 randomly assigned card providing a collector with a 4% chance of getting a Legendary piece.

There are 3,000 Mystery Packs available, priced at $99 each. But these are not all surprises for David Bowie's huge fandom. All lucky holders of cards with the serial number ’1947,’ Bowie' year of birth, get an extra, unique NFT airdropped by Melos Studio. On top of that, each owner of at least 1 Mystery Pack purchased during a sale period has a chance to share a prize pool of $10,000, alongside 100 WAVE points and an additional NFT airdropped.

Backstage photos and videos, backstage comic situations, unreleased music, and monologues – all this and even more await the participants within the drop.

It's worth noting that last June, Shantell Martin released the first-ever, 3-piece NFT collection Bowie 1976 starring the rock star. A three-piece drop featured David's interview, conducted 45 years ago.
