What is Crypto Duckz
The Crypto Duckz Rescue Squad arrived in Ducktopia to save the Wetlands - home of the Crypto Duckz. The wetlands were occupied by the evil 'humeanity'. The 'humean' pollution has destroyed nearly every part of the wetlands so the Crypto Duckz took the last breath of a chance and sent 7.777 brave Duckz to Ducktopia. Myths say that the great goddess 'Anatidae' has hidden four ancient eggs in the old times. If all of those four eggs can be found, they can be used to summon Anatidae. Only led by the mighty goddess the Crypto Duckz have a chance to take on the 'humeanity' and reconquer the wetlands.
The upcoming game
We're creating a top-down action-puzzle-esk rpg, think of it as a mix of zelda and pacman. Your duck has to escape from randomzied small levels to collect $QUAKK-Token at the end of each level. While trying to find an exit the duck is chased by enemies. But there ist one big problem: Your duck is a f*king duck, so obviously it cant carry any kind of weapon so your only chance is to waddle as fast as you can. To take part in the rescue mission you need one $QUAKK-Token for every new start after you either stopped playing or failed a level.
Why playing the game?
As you know the Crypto Duckz Rescue Squad is searching for the four ancient eggs to save the Wetlands. Myths say those eggs are hidden anywhere here in Ducktopia, so go out there and fulfill your destiny. Everytime you finish your level successfully you get a reward. This reward always contains 1-3 $QUAKK-Token but with a small chance you can also win an item from the community-wallet (cashprizes, NFTs, airdrops). After every level the difficulty for the next level gets harder. This can happen in different ways f.e.: + enemies move faster + your Crypto Duck moves slower + enemies shoot more or faster projectiles + more enemies With rising difficulty the chances of community-wallet-rewards also getting bigger. And maybe hidden deep in the depths of Ducktopia some brave ducks can find what they have come for.
Backstory of the project / Who are the devs
To tell you something about the backstory of this NFT work we have to explain who we are first. The team itself is originally a company/agency for the most known comedians and comedy artists in germany. We organize and realize huge comedy concerts and are one of the biggest agencies in this section nationwide, even if we only employ 5 people. Because of corona we started to observe cryptocurrencies and NFTs and planned to create a project that can provide a source of income for every person who stays at home during the pandemic. Our agency was going through very hard times due to the lockdowns and the whole shutdown of liveconcerts in germany, so we felt like: 'Hey, this here is way more fragile than we thought, we and many other people maybe need something that can provide income while hard times, totally independent from the 'real world'.' The NFT project builds the foundation for the play 2 earn experience based on short puzzle and escape levels which steadily increase in difficulty. Each duck creates 3 $QUAK-token which can be used as 'lifes' for the upfollowing game 'Crypto Duckz: New Dawn'. Each time you finish you get a small reward in $QUAK-token to keep on playing, but also got a very small chance of winning something out of the community wallet, which can be cryptocurrencies, nfts or other interesting things like wl's or airdrops. This cycle shall provide every community member to have the possibility to earn a sidecashflow for hard times, like when corona hit our industry.
