In a mossy forest clearing, Badger and elf girl Liora were spending the day as they always would, drinking tea that smelled like wild strawberries, listening to the birds and chatting.
Liora braided soft blue flowers into his fur like a crown, and he waddled proudly as if he were a forest king.
When the sun dipped low, they listened to crickets sing while fireflies twinkled around them like floating lanterns.
Before going home, Liora gave Badger a gentle nose-boop, and he answered with a happy snuffle that sounded like a secret giggle.
